Thomas Alexander – Chief Executive Officer

Thomas Alexander brings decades of healthcare experience to Advanced Dallas Hospital & Clinics. As the CEO, Mr. Alexander is a servant leader focused on mission-driven operational excellence for patients and team members. Before his current role, Mr. Alexander served with Kindred Healthcare for ten years in key leadership positions. Post-Kindred, Mr. Alexander joined Vibra Healthcare, continuing his professional growth from CEO to Regional CEO for the Texas market. Mr. Alexander’s experience in long-term acute care, general acute care hospitals, and rehabilitation is vital to his impact at Advanced Dallas Hospital & Clinics.

Christie Torres, DNP - Chief Nursing Officer

Christie Torres, DNP, a nurse for over 20 years, provides leadership and guidance for the nursing team at Advanced Dallas Hospital & Clinics. Dr. Torres advocates for health equity, enhancing a health system’s unique team-based culture, and developing systematic approaches to improve patient care. In 2022, Dr. Torres earned the Milton and Anne Sidney Prize from Yale University, recognizing her commitment to clinical research and support of the Yale School of Nursing mission. Alongside this honor, Dr. Torres was named the 2022 Texas Nurse Practitioner Visionary Award, highlighting her work to showcase nurse practitioners as leaders in healthcare. Dr. Torres is dedicated to quality care and is a member of multiple professional healthcare associations, including a board member for the Texas Physicians for Social Responsibility.

Kevin Smoot - Executive Director, Subacute Trauma Program

Kevin Smoot joins Advanced Diagnostics Healthcare System with over 30 years of management and sales and marketing experience. Mr. Smoot has extensive experience in business development and managing business units. Outside of work Mr. Smoot has worked on the advisory board for the Texas Southern School of Business, Big Brother and Big Sisters, Prisoners Entrepreneur Program (PEP) and volunteers at Provision School in Houston.
